Judging

The ConnectedWorld.TV Awards are judged by a panel of international experts with broad experience of the broadcast, electronic media and online worlds.

Judges will examine each submission before discussing the pros and cons of each entry as a group. They will assess each entry against the judging criteria identified for each award category.

The Judges will then privately mark down their individual choice for the top four entrants in each award category.

The chairman of judges will collect each of the judges' score sheets and allocate points as follows: first place scores 10 points; second place 7 points; third place 4 points and fourth place 1 point.

The entries with the highest points totals will be featured as nominees on the ConnectedWorld.tv Awards website and at the awards ceremony.

The winner will be the entry that secures the highest number of points: the chairman of the judges will have a casting vote in the event of a tie. The awards will be presented at a black-tie gala dinner at The Okura Hotel, Amsterdam on 12 September 2011.
