Judging criteria will include market impact, as measured by sales; critical acclaim; take-up by or influence on the content creation community; innovative unique selling points. (Financial information will remain confidential to the judges.)

    The television set capable of receiving broadcast TV (either via aerial, satellite or cable) and incorporating an internet connection.

    The portable device that incorporates any form of wireless internet connectivity that is also capable of operating on battery power.

    The rapid expansion of the Connected World has been driven by dramatic improvements in users' experience of online video. This award recognises the software, middleware or application developers, device and infrastructure suppliers whose creativity makes the online content experience even easier to enjoy.
