PORTABLE DEVICE APPLICATION AWARD
This award recognises the applications that transform mobile phones and other portable devices into multimedia devices or secondary screens for locating additional information related to broadcast TV.
Winner: CJ HELLOVISION
The tving mobile applications deliver 110 live TV channels and 30,000 films and broadcast VOD episodes to mobile devices. A my channel function empowers users to confine their viewing to their favourite sources. As part of an n-screen service, the apps allow users to switch their viewing to a PC, another smartphone or tablet device.

SEARCH & CONTENT DISCOVERY AWARD
Presented for innovation in new search, content discovery and recommendation techniques.
Winner: Jinni
Claimed to be the first "taste-and-mood" based video discovery engine, Jinni delivers an intuitive, personalized experience that increases content consumption and reduces churn. The service is powered by the Entertainment Genome which contains thousands of 'genes' that are assigned to each title to describe mood, style, plot, setting and more.

"Jinni provides a search and discovery virtual machine that the user finds straight forward and relatively simple to use; providing a real bridge from traditional television to the multi platform worlf of endless offerings."
"Semantic search has got to be the new big thing: sort of Tivo on steroids."
"Jinni is an innovative search solution which is unique in the way it uses 'mood and taste' and not just genre and data - highly creative."
